To our knowledge this is the first patient safety mobile application for smart phones and tablets developed for the use by health care staff of Al Thagher hospital(one of MOH hospitals in KSA) .This application provides readers with simple information directed to the point regarding patient safety goals as well as other knowledge regarding how to reduce clinical risks.
The quiz included helps to assess that our hospital's staff could gather all the given information .Those who pass the quiz with80% or more will get a certificate from the continuous training, research & education department in Al Thagher hospital as a requirement to complete the orientation program which is mandatory and documented in every staff member's file.
